Table and Chair and Highchair Hire:

The first category of party equipment for hire are tables and chairs.  The adult tables are covered in a wood effect laminate, and  have metal legs. The adult chairs are simple plastic white chairs. There are also highchairs for available to rent if you are hosting an event for numerous smaller children.


Bubble Machines, Disco Lights, Smoke Machines & Balloon Pumps:

The second category of party equipment for hire are things to make your party extra special! Bubble machines can be used both inside and outside. These are extremely popular in the Summer months for children’s parties. Disco lights and smoke machines are more popular for older children’s parties, and adults parties too! They can be collected from the shop, or delivered directly to you. Balloon pumps are available for hire too. These are great when you need to fill many latex balloons with air, and would rather not blow them all using your own lung power! An electric balloon pump is certainly easier and quicker!


Bouncy Castles and Ball-Ponds:

If you are looking for a great way to entertain children at party without spending a lot of money on a party entertainer, then how about this category of party equipment for hire. We can organise soft play items such as bouncy castles (available in 3 sizes) which can be used both inside and outside. They come complete with motor and extension lead and are really easy to assemble. Ball ponds are a great idea for under 3′s. We would recommend using the delivery service if you choose these pieces of party equipment for hire since they are rather large and some of them quite heavy too!

Party bags, or loot bags are traditionally given out to children at the end of parties as a going home gift. Although there are several occasions where favours are given (baby showers, hen parties, retirement parties for example), they are most commonly given out at children’s parties. Here at The Costume Party Shop, we have a range of items available for party bags to suit any theme, budget and age. You can take a look at some of the items we have for sale.

The first thing you might want to consider is the actual party bag itself. Some people choose themed bags to tie in with the rest of the party. This might be Disney Princess, Pirates, Hello Kitty or Spiderman for example.

You might instead prefer a more traditional gift bag which can be used for any theme, and be unisex too. Whichever you prefer, we have all the options of party bags available to buy at The Costume Party Shop.

Next comes the fun part – choosing what to put inside the party bags! At this point you need to consider your budget per bag, the ages of the child, and whether you wish to create unisex party bags, or different ones for boys and girls.

So lets start with budget. You do not have to spend a fortune to make a lovely going home gift for a child. After all, it is not their party! We have many items which are always popular, and cost under $1 per item. Examples include a packet of modelling clay, small colouring books, a pack of crayons, or a small plastic toy.

Next, you need to consider the age of each child. You might need to make party bags for those under 3 years. These need special attention since there are items which are clearly marked as suitable for babies. Some of our favourites here include bath toys and teethers.

For older children, the choices are vast – you should really come in store the view the full range. It is constantly changing and updating as new products come into the market.

Boys love all things slimey and all things magnetic, whilst we find that girls prefer the craft items and anything which sparkles!
